Paralympic Flag Handover Ceremony at the Closing Ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games is eight-minute show telling the story of a young girl who wants to become a Paralympic hero. One of the world’s leading sand animators Artur Kirillov created images to the music of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. The handover featured 2008 Paralympic Games swimming champion and Sochi 2014 Ambassador Olesya Vladykina, who performed with the Olympic Figure Skating champion Ilya Kulik, European and Wheelchair World Champions, singer and Sochi 2014 Ambassador Diana Gurtskaya and the Domisolka children’s choir.
